Day 3 – Wednesday: Build Your Own Ebenezers

Scripture Reading: Joshua 4:1-9

God instructed His people to build memorials because He knew human hearts forget. We remember disappointments with incredible clarity but often lose sight of God's goodness.

That's why intentional remembrance matters.

Your Ebenezer may not be a stack of stones beside a river, but it could be a journal filled with answered prayers, a highlighted Bible, a family testimony shared around the dinner table, or quiet moments when you simply thank God for His faithfulness.

These reminders become spiritual markers that strengthen your faith during difficult seasons.

When doubt begins asking whether God will come through again, your memorials quietly answer, "He already has." Every remembered act of God's faithfulness prepares you to trust Him for the next challenge.

Don't wait until life gets difficult before remembering His goodness. Build your Ebenezers while your heart is full, and they will steady you when storms begin to blow. Remembering always strengthens believing.

Application Question

What practical reminder could you create this week to help you remember God's faithfulness during future seasons of uncertainty?
