Scripture Reading: Psalm 18:29-36
Reflection:
David declared, "By my God I can leap over a wall." The wall represented every obstacle the enemy hoped would contain him.
Pain often builds invisible walls around your heart. Disappointment whispers that you'll never trust again. Failure convinces you you'll never succeed again. Rejection tells you you'll always be alone. Before long, those walls begin defining your identity instead of simply describing your experience.
But God never intended your hardship to become your permanent address. He brought you through those seasons because He has somewhere better for you to live. His desire isn't simply that you survive difficult moments but that you move beyond them with renewed hope.
Through His strength, walls become opportunities for faith instead of prisons of fear.
Don't settle for living behind barriers Jesus died to remove. Keep trusting Him. He is able to help you move forward with confidence, freedom, and joyful expectation once again today.
Application Question:
What wall have you quietly accepted as permanent that God may be inviting you to overcome through His strength?
