Day 4 – Thursday: Who Am I?

Scripture Reading: 1 Chronicles 17:16-27

After receiving incredible blessings from God, David didn't boast about what he had accomplished. Instead, he sat quietly before the Lord and asked, "Who am I?"

Gratitude has a way of putting life back into proper perspective. When you honestly consider where you could have been without God's mercy, pride begins to disappear.

The opportunities you've received, the people who love you, the prayers God has answered, and even the breath in your lungs are reminders of His grace.

It's easy to become accustomed to blessings until they feel ordinary. Yet every good gift still comes from your Heavenly Father.

Gratitude isn't pretending life has been easy. It's recognizing that God has remained faithful through every season.

Take time today to remember not only what God has given you but who He has been to you. A thankful heart sees God's fingerprints where others only see coincidence. Gratitude opens your eyes to grace.

Application Question

When you look honestly at your journey, what specific reasons move you to say, "Who am I that God has brought me this far?"

I want you to know that I thank God for you, for your friendship. God has certainly shown His goodness to me. I hope to see you back here tomorrow for one more devotion before the weekend! Pastor Donnie
