Scripture Reading: Ephesians 2:19-22
Samuel's stone pointed backward to God's help, but Jesus points both backward and forward. He is your true Ebenezer—the solid foundation beneath every season of life.
Circumstances change, people disappoint, and emotions rise and fall, but Christ remains the unshakable cornerstone.
When you don't know what decision to make, He is your wisdom. When you feel weak, He is your strength. When fear tries to overwhelm you, He is your peace.
Your confidence doesn't rest on how capable you feel today. It rests on who Jesus has always been. Every blessing you've enjoyed and every trial you've survived ultimately points back to His sustaining grace.
As this week ends, don't simply remember what God has done. Rest in who He is. The One who has helped you until this moment will not abandon you tomorrow.
Your greatest memorial isn't a stone. It's a Savior who never changes and never fails.
Application Question
How would your outlook change if you faced today's responsibilities believing Jesus truly is your constant Stone of Help?
Before you rush into another busy week, pause and look back. Where can you honestly say, "Up to this point, the Lord has helped me"? Bring those stories with you this Sunday, worship alongside your church family, and let your remembrance strengthen someone else's faith as well.
I look forward to seeing Sunday! Pastor Donnie
